Welcome to Awana at

Calvary Baptist Church, Chemainus BC! Our 2022-23 year begins on September 13, 2022

Awana is a weekly discipleship ministry that brings church and home together! Through games, music, activities and small group time kids learn to know, love and serve God. Each child is part of a club (Cubbies, Sparks, Truth and Training, Trek) based on their grade. They work through a handbook each year, memorizing Bible verses and earning awards in a safe and fun environment. Please be prepared to help your child at home for a few minutes a day with their memory verses and handbook.

We offer 4 Awana Clubs at Calvary on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8pm:

Cubbies (ages 3/4)

Sparks (Kindergarten to Grade 2)

Truth and Training- T&T (Grades 3-6)

Trek (Grades 7-9)

The fee for Awana Clubs is $40/ child/ year which includes handbooks, awards, and a uniform (t-shirt or vest). There is a family maximum fee of $120. You can pay with cash or cheque at the church. We don't want cost to stop clubbers from attending Awana! Please let us know if you need financial assistance.
